Our story begins with our son. At an early age he was diagnosed with severe allergic response to local pollens which were manifesting as asthma. In our research we discovered that consumption of local honey could have beneficial effects. It was then that we became interested in keeping bees.

Over the next several years, with copious amounts of our own locally produced honey added to our son's diet his allergic responses did reduce. What started as an effort to help our son has turned into a passion for bees and beekeeping.
